DISTURBED Guitarist Interviewed On KBAZ-FM's 'Rockstar Radio' (Video)
October 2, 2010On September 24, Shawn of Rockstar Radio (Hamilton, Montana's KBAZ-FM) conducted an interview with DISTURBED guitarist Dan Donegan at the Post Falls, Idaho stop of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar tour. You can now watch the chat below.
DISTURBED frontman David Draiman told a California radio station last month that the band will be doing two legs of its Music As A Weapon tour in 2011. Draiman did not reveal the lineup, but said, "The co-headliner for the tour [rumored to be KORN. — Ed.] is massive. And it's going to be appearing in a union that I think hard rock and heavy metal fans have been wanting to happen for awhile. It has happened before, but only in brief stints. Now it's gonna happen for the duration of a two-leg-long tour. And we're gonna join forces with a leviathan. And we're really looking forward to it."
Draiman told The Pulse of Radio earlier this summer that the fifth Music As A Weapon was in the works and hinted again at a spectacular lineup. "It is definitely going to happen again," he said. "It's probably going to be in the springtime, and all I can say is that there are some very formidable candidates, one or two in particular, that we are very elated that are potentially willing to join the fold. If it ends up coming to pass, this could be the most powerful bill that Music As A Weapon has seen."
Previous Music As A Weapon lineups have included CHEVELLE, STONE SOUR, DROWNING POOL, ALTER BRIDGE and others.
DISTURBED's fifth studio album, "Asylum", arrived on August 31 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, the fourth consecutive release from the group to do so.
